eol, hand cut paper, glue, 72 x 57 inches, 2007
The collage depicts an apartment interior rotated a quarter turn clockwise. Phrases from the artist’s poem have been cut into the silhouettes of objects in the image.
The phrases carved into the silhouettes expand the phrases’ meaning while still being tempered by the other phrases that form the poem.
